BUTTE CREEK CANYON CENTERVILLE RECREATION and HISTORICAL ASSOCIATION

A public charity for tax exemption under Section 501C(3) of the Federal IRS tax code.

Driven by a conviction of the need for significant change, we are committed to a fresh new start in 2011, to begin to develop a greater range of community programs at the Centerville Schoolhouse, with a wider spectrum of educational activities at the Colman Community Museum in Butte Creek Canyon.

A splendid grant from the Foor Foundation enables us to begin to create a climate-controlled storage facility and workspace for our museum collections. This capital infusion has electrified our progress, and we profusely thank the Foor Foundation for helping us to establish the first significant improvement in our capabilities since the Colman Community Museum was founded in 1976. We will soon be better able to save, archive, protect and display our social, cultural and historical collections of life in Butte Creek Canyon.

Our next step is to find out from you the community activities and programs you believe will enhance your life in our beautiful canyon region.

Below is a community survey we seek to help us to plan the new programs and activities in which you would be most interested.

We appreciate your participation in this survey.
