Storm of 2008

Friday, January 4th, 2008 started of with one of the fiercest storms Butte Creek Canyon has ever seen. Windspeeds were measured at 60 mph and caused destruction throughout the canyon. Trees toppled and utility poles with transformers snapped. Many households were without power for days.

PG&E customers that were without power for over 48 hrs. will receive a rebate in the amount of $20 to $100.00. These rebates will be send automatically by PG&E. If you do not receive your rebate within 60 days contact PG&E at 1-800-743-5000.
