49'er Day Faire
Come and see a living history lesson Sunday, June 6, 2010 in Butte Creek Canyon as volunteer groups host the annual
Covered Bridge Pancake Breakfast and Centerville's 49er Pioneer Day Faire.
Honey Run Covered Bridge 45th Annual Pancake Breakfast provided by Captain Bob's Pancake Wagon
The breakfast goes from 7 a.m. to
11 a.m.
The cost is $7.50 for adults, and $5 for children 10 and under
It includes
pancakes, sausage, fresh fruit, orange juice, and coffee.
The Pub Scouts and Double Zero will be providing music for your enjoyment.
Proceeds benefit the Honey Run Covered Bridge
Association's dedication to preserve & maintain the bridge & park for future generations.
Centerville's 49er Pioneer Day Faire
Centerville's 49er Pioneer Day Faire features friendly canyon dwellers
presenting a day of fine arts and crafts, music, BBQ food and drink, plant sale, a country
store, demonstrations of gold panning, Pack Mule display, quilting, weaving demo,
wool spinning and blacksmithing.
A silent auction and the largest raffle to date,
featuring a Grand Prize of a vacation stay in a beautiful mountain resort home will be held.
The Band Coopers
Bluff and friends will provide music from 11:00am to 3:30pm.
Multiple nearby parking areas are available with a shuttle provided.
Admission is free.
The 49er Faire is the 42nd annual benefit for the old schoolhouse and museum.
An informal discussion at the PG&E Centerville Power House begins at 9:00 a.m. and runs
until 2:00 p.m.
Discussion highlights will include the cooperative efforts and
developments regarding resource conservation and watershed ventures in Butte Creek Canyon
A small shuttle vehicle will be available for those challenged by the walk from Centerville
Rd.
As an additional feature an informal walk-about at The Centerville Cemetery
will also be conducted.
